I came to Dr. Shier because I was having numbness and tingling sensations in my upper right leg. It was terrible pain that shot through my hip area. I was suffering for about 3 weeks. I even took ibuprofen. The whole staff at The Shier Family Clinic is very knowledgeable in what they do. I have had very positive results with my chiropractic care. Dr. Shier has been able to alleviate the intense pain I was having in a very short period of time. I am glad chiropractic isn’t just for back pain.

Since my teenage years, I have been experiencing chronic headaches that were debilitating and frequent. I had seen a long list of doctors who had given me all kinds of medications and then finally told me that I had to live with my pain. Dr. Shier was the first doctor to find the cause of my problem and give me considerable relief. Now I also have much more energy and am much more positive. Dear Friends, Physicians, pain killers, and lots of Advil and Tylenol were a part of my everyday life. I had lived with neck and back pain for so long the frustration was enough to give up hope. My energy was non existent and my attitude was never on the good side.
A very good friend of mine asked if I had tried chiropractic. I told her I had and that It didn’t work. She said I had to see Dr. Shier and that he was not like any other chiropractor. I am proud to say that she was right. I not only got better but I learned how to keep myself better. Dr. Shier is good at what he does and because of that I am good at what I do. Life is much more enjoyable again or maybe even for the first time!

Before coming to Dr. Shier I had terrible back pain. I was taking several medications including Vicodin (which was prescribed by my medical doctor). Nothing was helping the pain. I am so happy I started coming to The Shier Family Clinic. I was treated wonderfully by Dr. Shier, Ann, and Cindy. My life has changed so much since receiving care and I am able to walk without assistance. I no longer use a cane or walker. I sleep for longer periods of time and can get out of bed more easily. I tell everyone to GO-GO-GO to Dr. Shier!

Before coming to The Shier Family Clinic I had experienced headaches and back pain. I also had asthma when I would exercise. These symptoms had been bothering me for almost 2 years. I had seen a neurologist for my headaches and also my family doctor who attributed my discomfort to “growing pains.” Since coming to see Dr. Shier I haven’t had anymore headaches, and my back doesn’t hurt under stress any more. I can now run a mile in under 7 minutes. All that without any asthma symptoms. I really enjoy coming to Dr. Shier’s office. Everyone is very friendly here.

My name is Jacklyn Ewerdt and I am from Green Lake, WI. I heard about Dr. Shier from the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce.
After suffering with lower back pain and severe pain in both knees for almost 2 years, I decided to give Dr. Shier a try. Previously I had been to several other doctors, including specialists, orthopedics, pain management specialists, and 2 other chiropractors.
I realized once I found Dr. Shier that is truly does pay to shop around. Dr. Shier and his staff were all very caring and I could tell that he really wanted to help me.
It took patience for both of us, but it worked. It took me approximately 6 weeks to feel complete relief, but I am now back to being able to walk without pain.
My life has changed for the better. I can take care of my grandchildren, go for walks, and most important I am once again able to function as a first responder and help others.
